H.P.Lovecraft真是前人栽树后人乘凉的典范，看片的过程中，不止一次的想到斯蒂芬金，战栗黑洞这些对于当代来说更响亮的字眼。纵观H.P.Lovecraft小说所改编的影视作品，本片确实算不错。导演并没有纠结于原著小说强大的世界观，而且弱化了男女主角的情爱戏份，让观影过程更为流畅，当然换句话说，也是导演的能力所限。里面的几段特效放到今天，依然买账....
